1980: A Turbulent Year in Poland and the Czechoslovak Reaction

The goal of the project is through witness interviews document the labor strikes of 1980 in Wroclaw and the subsquent Operation Krkonose undertaken by the Czechoslovak army, allegedly to crush the movement down. Thirty interviews will be made (ten by the Polish partner and twenty by the Czech partner). The partners in this project are Post Bellum and Ośrodek Pamięć i Przyszłość.
